iDreamingTV has locked down a date for a follow up workshop for participants from Mount Gambier & Sth East for existing and new artist. Take your existing stencil light paintings and develop them into an outdoor or indoor scene using light painting tools. Learn the Art of creative long exposure photography.

WORKSHOP SKILLS

Learn basic skills of DSLR Camera and tripod use for stencil light painting photography including:

o Exposure, framing, white balance, iso, aperture, shutter speed, lens choices, how to choose your location and the Art of Long Exposure.

o Use of light painting materials to paint a scene with your stencil in it. Like the stencil workshops materials such as plastic, different fabrics, water etc. can be used to shine light through to make unique light painted scenes to put your stencils in.

o Learn how create a creative background scene in which to fit your stencil to tell a light story. This can fit the stencil content or can be completely abstract.

Continuous Quality Improvement of Light Art

Contribute to the continuous quality improvement of light painting stencil art/light painting techniques through discussion, feedback and experimentation during the workshops.


CONSENT FORMS - As per previous workshops participants will need to sign a consent form for iDreamingTV to use the stencil light painting images and documentation pictures as required including for reporting purposes, to exhibit the images in the future on our new online channel and to screen at festivals and to exhibit on our facebook page and online channel: https://idreamingtv.org/
